Remembrance Day 2019

Remembrance Day 2019

Remembrance Day is a special day for remembering. It happens on 11 November each year and it remembers the day in 1918 when the First World War ended. All our schools within the Trust have been admirably respectful of this day and have done many great things in honour of Remembrance Day.

Our Chatham Hub held a Remembrance Service in the courtyard at The Victory Academy on Friday. Mr Owen performed the “Last Post” to mark the beginning of two minutes of silence. A very moving service on a perfectly bright and crisp November morning.
