Our School

The Portsmouth Academy is on a journey to becoming a “Microsoft Showcase School” due to our approach to digital learning. The academy has launched a one:one device policy, so every child in Year 7 has their own laptop. We are already seeing the benefits of digital learning such as our students developing their digital skills and truly making learning last. If you have a passion for digital learning then we would love to talk to you about our Principal role and how you can help lead us on our journey to being a Microsoft Showcase School.

We will also be opening a specialist resource provision within the school which will have 48 places for young people with learning and cognition challenges. This will be an all through provision and students will join us in year 5 from our trust schools meaning they will be with The Portsmouth Academy for 7 years allowing us to truly transform their life chances.
