Thinking Schools Academy Trust is proud to sponsor Brixham Sirens ladies rugby team

The Thinking Schools Academy Trust is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the Brixham Sirens, a popular ladies rugby team in the South West of England.

The Brixham Sirens, based in Torbay, meet regularly for home and away games against other squads across the region.

Money from our joint sponsorship commitment with Thinking Fitness, our not-for-profit gym where profits raised from membership fees go back into benefiting our pupils, allowed the team to purchase their new training kits.

Jay Davenport, Regional Director for the South West, and pictured wearing blue in the centre, joined supporters of the team for their away game against Plympstock Oaks recently.

He said: “I believe it is important to support community groups and organisations where possible, especially when it provides an opportunity to promote the good work happening within our schools.

“This sponsorship for Brixham Sirens is a prime example of achieving that, and I think it’s fantastic to see Thinking Schools Academy Trust and Thinking Fitness coming together to support this popular team, who I enjoyed cheering on very much.”

In a joint statement, co-captains Nat Rowe and Bev Moulden said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to Jay Davenport for coming to show support for Brixham Sirens and to TSAT for providing us with the sponsorship to purchase our new training kit.

“Thank you for investing in our journey and empowering us to pursue our passion for rugby with confidence and in style. We are grateful for your support and proud to be aligned with an organisation that shares our values of community spirit and teamwork.”
