Students at Rochester Grammar School are celebrating an impressive set of results following the completion of their Sixth Form studies, marking a proud milestone as they prepare for the next stage of their journeys.
This year’s results reflect the determination and talent of the student cohort, with an average point score of 35 and 17% achieving over 40 points; performance equivalent to top A level grades.
The Sixth Form curriculum at Rochester Grammar Sixth Form offers expert teaching and a wide range of enrichment opportunities. Students follow a broad and flexible programme that supports academic excellence and personal growth, preparing them for university, careers, and life beyond school.

Students are now preparing to take up places at a wide range of top universities; Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, Durham, Warwick to name a few, studying subjects from History to Law to Medicine and highly competitive apprenticeships. These next steps reflect not only academic excellence, but the well-rounded skillsets students have developed throughout their Sixth Form experience.
As always there were some real highlights. Three students achieved an outstanding 43 points; Elena intends to take up a place to study History at Oxford, Karina intends to take up a place to study Law at Cambridge, while Anna intends to take up a place to study Statistics at St Andrews. A further two students achieved 42 points; Nalukui intends to take up a place to study Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at Nottingham and Sanaya intends to take up a place to study Data Science at UCL. Nine further students achieved 40+ points, including Monika, Blessing, Zara and Demi. Our Head Study Olivia achieved an impressive 37 points and intends to take up an apprenticeship with Amazon at the end of the summer.
