Children jump for joy as celebrity announces their win in Trust talent show

Children from Moorings Way Infant School, Portsmouth, have been jumping with joy after their recent win in the Thinking School Academy Trust’s Got Talent competition.

Their performance, which saw the school win the primary school category in the contest, celebrated Her Majesty The Queen’s 70 year reign on the throne.

The children dressed up in costumes to celebrate the occasion, from footballers to doctors, and impressed everyone in the Trust who could vote for their favourite, as well as guest celebrity judge Ore Oduba who helped with casting the final vote.

He said: “That performance is definitely one of the best group performances I’ve seen.

“Congratulations [on winning’] it was an amazing celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, I loved the song you guys showed such enthusiasm, you sung it beautifully, and I was obsessed by the outfits.”

The Trust’s Got Talent show was aligned with our TSArTs week, which saw children and young people from across our schools in Plymouth, Portsmouth and Kent focused on all-things Arts and how it can support everyone’s development.
