Moorings Way Infant School in Portsmouth received an amazing donation from Tesco last week… a box full of brand new Christmas jumpers!

One of the school’s kind parents works for Tesco and asked her store to give Moorings Way the jumpers for children to enjoy later this year.

The school decided not to participate in Christmas Jumper Day last year – due to the cost of living and financial pressure on many families – but now they are able to support those who need it later this year!

Ruth Vonk, Head of School at Moorings Way, said: “I was so overwhelmed with the kindness of this gesture. Thank you so much to our parent Natalie Cole who works for Tesco and made this happen. It makes such a difference in the lives of others.”
